Dr. Elterman is a physician and writer. She is a board-certified anesthesiologist with 10 years of clinical experience across a breadth of practice models, including academics and private practice.

 

Dr. Elterman has over a decade of writing experience in several different formats including scientific writing for research papers, articles and editorials for healthcare professionals, articles on medical topics for the public, and poetry and non-fiction on non-clinical topics. She has also created, edited, and published educational videos on various topics in clinical anesthesia.

Dr. Elterman has published multiple peer-reviewed journal articles, as well as award-winning abstracts, posters, and oral presentations. Her non-scientific writing has been published on KevinMD.com, in the San Antonio Medical Magazine, and has won awards in literary magazines.
